Ji-ari Shakuhachi 1.9 in C# – Mumei
Old shakuhachi (beginning of XXth century) with a nice patina made in respect of older traditions.
This Ji-ari has a very flexible and ample playing with a warm and dark tone typical of old kinko flutes.
This shakuhachi of high quality has very few Ji giving a nice bamboo resonance.
A surface crack close to the 4th hole and small ‘craters’ in utaguchi inlay are to be noted.
I sell this instrument for Thomas J. friend and student of Gunnar; the payment will be made to him.
