Made from a gorgeous piece of French tiger bamboo torachiku (Ph. nigra boryana), this “Gakusei” shakuhachi has a beautiful velvet deep and rich tone, an excellent response and balance on its 3 octaves.
The foot has a surface crack secured with 3 bindings.
