Ji-ari Shakuhachi 1.8 in D 2 Hanko “Tadasuke Tanaka”&”Chikuyusha” – Restored by Chikudo
This very well crafted Ji-ari is well balanced, with good volume and nice tone colour somehow dark and mysterious from my fellings.
Made by the Chikuyusha top maker from Tokyo Tadasuke Tanaka apparently retired now.
I repaired a big crack on the upper part with 7 traditional inlaid rattan bindings and the silver rings with an urushi technique called Negoro.
