Ji-nashi shakuhachi 1.9 in C#
This excellent ji-nashi has a deep and rich sound. Ro is loud and stable and the flute answers very well to all the kinko fingerings and techniques. The french bamboo, thick and dense has very good bore proportions; the roots are beautiful. Adark stain is present near the utaguchi and two other small ones on other places; I filled the gaps with ji. The natural bore of the bamboo has caracteristics very close to ji-ari giving a very well balanced, powerfull and bright timbre; It is very rare to find such a piece of bamboo !
