Old Ji-nashi Shakuhachi 1.7 in Eb – restored by Chikudo – Japanese Madake
This ji-nashi shakuhachi is probably aged around 100 years; It is comfortable and easy to play with a clear tone colour.
There is a mysterious calligraphy by the foot of this shakuhachi : “文夢庵” which could be pronounced as “BunMuAn” and translation is difficult; something like “Literary dream hermitage”…
