Tozan Ji-ari shakuhachi 1.9 in C# -Made by Nishida Roshu 2nd
I sell this shakuhachi for a friend.
It is a high quality Ji-ari made in the Tozan style by a reknown maker of Ehime-ken Shikoku named Roshu Nishida the 2nd (二代 西田 露秋); his father was teacher of the famous Chikusen Tamai.
It is a very adaptable shakuhachi which has all the tonal qualities expected. Pitch is perfect, tone colour, balance and response are great.
The key of C# is sometimes usefull for playing with string instrument in cases when they can’t tune in D.
A good oportunity for this price.
